Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will issue invitations to apply to <strong>up to 10,000 people<\/strong> who had already expressed interest in family sponsorship since 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who can receive an invitation?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">This process is <strong>limited to those who submitted the interest form in 2020<\/strong> and have not yet been selected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">If you or a family member completed that form, carefully check your inbox as well as your <em>spam<\/em> and <em>junk mail<\/em> folders. Invitations will be sent <strong>for two weeks starting July 28<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How is the application done?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Those who receive an invitation will be able to submit their application electronically through the <strong>Permanent Residence Portal<\/strong> or the <strong>Representative Portal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What if I don\u2019t receive an invitation this year?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">If you are not invited in this cycle, there is still an excellent alternative: the <strong>Super Visa<\/strong>.
